Traditionally, a person waited to go to the doctor at the first signs of a symptom.  Today, individuals are looking for way to not only manage illness with personalized treatment plans, but they are also seeking to achieve a ultra wellness and prevention, this is culprit of integrative and functional medicine.

Eating a balanced diet, exercising, drinking a protein shake and taking a multivitamin is simply not enough.  Each person’s body is unique in its own way.  Due to the complexity of the human body, an individualized functional approach is the only way to guarantee optimal results.

Dr. Levy  specializes in integrative and functional medicine, and often recommends a comprehensive battery of tests which typically provides further insight into ones health status.

Effective July 01, 2015 Dr. Levy will coordinate all laboratory tests with Ontario’s LifeLabs

Please note:  Functional laboratory tests are not covered under OHIP, furthermore, extended health care benefits, group insurance plans, and health spending accounts (HSA) may or may not cover them. It is the patient’s responsibility to collaborate with their insurance company and confirm coverage. Dr. Levy assumes no responsibility in cases where insurance coverage has been denied.
